Cries as I try to figure out math for Armored core emblem construction
I did t even actually count the number of letters in the thing I'm copying I figured I'd just make lorum epsum
Like I have letters on 0 degrees, 45, 90, 2..I forgot what's after 90 but the point is there's a letter on every cardinal and diagonal and I need to figure out what the rotation and position of two letters between each diagonal and cardinal are....
Okay the new math headache is trying to figure out where the letters go on the xy axis
0 degrees rotation goes at x0 y-105
45 degrees is at x74 y-74
90 degrees is at x105 y0
I need 5o figure out what the xt coords should be for 15 and 30 degrees, and if the coords I have now are actually as they should be...
I hate math
I don't think the coords match up right? Like if I just try to offset by 15 again the actual decals I'm moving go wildly out of place
Do I really have to eyeball all the 15 degree-offsets decals or is there a way for people with brains to math this out
Well I don't know what the math is doing or if slight tweaks would be more correct but I've noticed all the coords have a pattern
Cardinal: 105 and 0
Diagonals: 74
15 degrees off diagonal: 91 and 53
15 degrees off cardinal: 101 and 28
Of the 24 spots for letters the xy coords of every decal matches up with some combination of those numbers. Like one below 9oClock is x-101 y28 and one above 3oClock is x101 y-28
So I don't know if it's correct. But at worst it's consistently wrong. And that's all my dumb ass can ask for
I have no idea how long I've been at this. At least an hour I think. I thought "oh I'll just throw a basic eagle on a circle to slap on the metal wolf build" and once again I have found myself putting off the end of the game for hours on end
