right now, I refuse to buy a 3D printer
- no one in the miniature painting or "maker" spaces ever seem to talk in plain terms about the health hazards of mostly unventilated machines that puke VOCs into your home
- I already have enough flammable material in my apartment from terrain goop, I don't need a giant jug of iso alcohol
- again, I have an apartment so I can't put this in an outbuilding to protect myself from fumes or control the risk of fire
- shit is expensive
And let's say a miracle solution solved all of these issues and came with a drop-dead simple UI. The ultimate result is still a machine that can create an infinite backlog of resin garbage I"ll never paint
That's a me problem, not a printer problem, but I don't need to have a 3D printer just because every terrain builder on youtube slings ads for 3D printers or third party STL files
