I'm fascinated by the sense that Twitter is this big cultural battleground where people scream at each other until their brains break. meanwhile Facebook dwarfs it in size, its demographics are now the most reliable voters in the United States, and most people write it off as an unsaveable terror camp to indoctrinate meemaws and peepaws into far-right talking points.

This is not to say that the culture warriors SHOULD ride into glorious battle on Facebook because fuck that whole mess. but it does seem like Twitter is this endless slobberknocker of flame wars, while a bloc of Facebook users, an order of magnitude larger, march to the polls like star wars battle droids. i dunno
