So when waiting for some of my commissions, I had received a DM on Twitter stating my payment to the artist hadn't gone through. I was confused, because they had not sent me an invoice. I already had red flags going off, and had them send me proof it was an alternative account, the impersonator was claiming that they were rate limited on DMs. After a back and forth I blocked them, and reported them. While reporting them their account suddenly changed to a new name and was going on about scamming other people who had commissioned. It was definitely a new one to me. So remember, be careful out there.
