Killed my PS2 when trying to use an OEM network adapter with the sata adapter mod. It powers on an reads discs still, but doesn't read HDDs anymore. Sadness.

For a while I was wondering if I should bite the bullet and get a PS1 Memory Card Pro so I'd not have to worry about space issues, and sure enough this morning Memory Card Pro for PS2 was announced for preorder this morning. Apparently this one works for both PS1 and PS2, and can have things like Free Mcboot installed on partitions of the SD card. I am super excited and will definitely be getting one once I get paid.

For those who follow retro modding news and projects, the HDMI PS2 Digital is cancelled for the GEM board by PixelFX. That board can fit and adds HDMI out to PS2, PS1, N64, and Dreamcast with Wii and Original Xbox being later. That wasn't what was controversial though. Besides the flex costing $20 extra for some systems, the base board will only go up to 720p. For $80 more, the software on the board can be upgraded to enabke resolutions up to 1440p. So this has led to many saying this adds DRM to consoles that never had DRM naturally. Below is the tweet with the video. We also are unsure if the regular PS1, DC HW2, and N64 Digitals will be supported anymore. What are everyone's thoughts?
