I've been prepping to run Delta Green for the first time soon and watching a lot of inspirational genre stuff to get the tone right. So far I've watched...
-True Detective season 1 - awesome, lives up to the hype, cool Yellow King references, not very scary but still a must-watch
-Jacob's Ladder - very surreal but not nearly as disturbing now as it probably was at the time, some good anti-war stuff though
-Angel Heart - interesting premise as a supernatural detective noire with a lot of questionable (almost X-rated) content, the twist is not really worth the runtime but I liked the investigation bits
-The Mothman Prophecies - surprisingly eerie and unsettling to watch, this one freaked me out the most and I'd highly recommend it
-The Fog - good pirate ghost story, not very scary but I really liked the jazz radio host warning the town about the fog from the old lighthouse
