Funny how the passing years have made me nostalgic for FFXIII. I disliked it when it released for its shallowness compared to previous FFs (especially after XII), but now I find myself missing its colourful characters and world. The paradigm system too was quite flawed but it still tried to play on the strengths of tactical combat, relying on fast thinking and reaction instead of action reflexes. Maybe I'm just getting old but I was perhaps too harsh on it.
It's grown in me so much. I def recommend giving it and lightning returns another shot tho 13-2 is not great LOL
Yeah I heard the third is prolly the best one. I lost interest at FFXIII-2 hearing that it was pretty similar to XIII. Unfortunately I don't see myself remedy any of that seeing my backlog lol.
I went back to it earlier this year, also thinking I was too hard on it. Put it away again after an hour... turns out, my feelings haven't changed ha.
Yeah I feel like I'd have a similar reaction haha. But I'd like to take it for a spin again sometimes. Sazh is still best final fantasy dad.
What, you don't think Barrett is the best dad for constantly endangering his daughter and leaving her with strangers for months at a time with the full expectation of dying and not coming back? Yeah okay nevermind you're right.
