I saw them live about a year ago opening for Nova Twins and had an incredible energy and punchy and catchy songs. Unfortunately, I didn't really connect much with their studio sound at the time, the debut album sounding very thin and kinda bubblegummy to me. This new album captures their live energy much better imo, with a dirtier and thicker sound, somewhere between angry dark post-punk and crunchy garage rock
