the only way i get into a new video game anymore is if i passively learn about its contents from third parties and it just so happens to check at least 12 out of 15 boxes of unknowable characteristics about whether it interests me and if i'm emotionally capable of engaging with it. im scrolling through lists of games on itch.io from various charity bundles trying to find something i wanna play and i feel like im staring at ancient runes in a long forgotten language. i dont know what im looking for, i dont know what i want, i dont know what any of these are and theres so much of them. im not even confident i know what a video game is anymore
