Not quite the appropriate season anymore, but I am nonetheless very thrilled I stumbled upon a copy of East Coast Super Punk Sound of Today!, which, finally, completes my collection of World/Inferno Friendship Society full lengths! Technically, my collection of studio albums has already been comple for quite some time, due to Super Punk technically being a compilation of non-album singles, but in practice, that one always took up the role as a studio album for me, so without it it never really felt completed. But here it is! I'm done! This is a sweet collection that I'm very proud of, some of these I had to get a bit lucky to get my hands on, the luckiest one was finding Bridgewater Astral League for 1€ in the bargain bin at my local record store. With the other one's I didn't get away this cheap though

World/Inferno are a truly remarkably unique band and one I only found to way too late, the release for their final album All Borders are Porous to Cats being the only one I was actually there for, but it became my favourite album of theirs, only contested by the classic Just the Best Party. Rest in peace Jack, the absolute madman
