I don't like relying on comparisons to popular bands when i'm trying to sell a small band, but if you're into Streetlight Manifesto, or any high energy (ska) punky music with horns, check this one out. Checks pretty much all the boxes of what makes Streetlight so great. Expansive songwriting with strong story telling, great musicianship, catchy, fun, probably the best horn section i've heard in a long time. Even the singer absolutely knocks it out of the park

This band doesn't have much music released but they're putting out a new EP in a couple of days and judging from this new track and their previous material, this is one of the most excited I've been for a release this year and just makes me so excited about music in general

i'm listening to this again and it's making me feel so much, i can't remember the last time a piece of music has evoked that strong emotional reactions in me. This song in particular but really this whole EP is so masterfully crafted and has so much passion in its performances, every time I consciously listen to it i just end up being an exhausted emotional mess cause its so fucking good at pressing all of my buttons that make me (at risk of sounding sappy) feel so in touch with TheHumanExperience®

Well all the king’s horses and all the king’s men can deny human rights with the stroke of a pen, this is an act of resistance, a means to an end, one last chance to slow our descent
