AND IT WAS REALLY COOL. Not just the stunt, though I respect the hell out of that, Chumbawamba had ended as a band a year before Thatcher expired, but they kept their promise and released the EP after it happened to celebrate. The music contained within is fucking excellent too, it was recorded in 2005, right at that period where they were transitioning from a more pop sound to a more folk one and that's reflected in this EP, I'd say it's got like a mix of both flavors of Chumbawamba, I love it. The music's so full of hope it's genuinely inspiring, and another highlight for me is they immortalized that classic quote by comedian Frankie Boyle:

"...They could give everyone in Scotland a shovel, and we would dig a hole so deep that we could hand her over to satan personally"
