for a while i've been thinking about getting into making map art in my survival world. To do that you need a designated area, and I had the idea of building a structure for it. I'm not convinced yet i'll actually do proper map art on this thing but it still gave me a nice excuse to build a large structure (and clear out some of my stone and deepslate storage)

oh that is a really nice way of doing it, I like how you built it! coming up with ways to add a bit more realism to stuff like map art is always really cool.
thank you! this way even if i never actually finish any piece of map art at least i have something to show for it lmao. id still like add a bit more surroundings like some terraforming and foliage so it looks less randomly plopped into the landscape but not sure what to do for that yet
