the new iphone announcement made me go "wow the iphone 13 mini looks so much better than the new iphones. what if all the iphones from now on are worse than the 13 mini." and now it's making me want to buy an iphone 13 mini while they're still in production even though my samsung galaxy 10e is Perfectly Fine and also paired with a Samsung watch so like, switching to iphone would be very expensive due to ecosystem lock-in. yet i can't stop thinking about it tbh.

fascinating new marketing strategy. making your products look better by announcing worse products

honestly, if there were a 14 mini i might upgrade even though there's no big reason to from my 13 mini. however, there is not, so there's no way im upgrading this year

Right? I have a 13 mini and it's the perfect size. Ever since I switched from a bigger phone, every time I try to hold one it feels gargantuan and uncomfortable. Companies please just make small phones.

the 10e IS the compact samsung phone and it still feels soooo huge and makes my hand so sore and it bulges out of my pants pockets. I held an iphone 13 mini at the apple store and I was like wow this is the perfect size for a phone.

Phones only being available in Ridiculously Large or Even More Ridiculously Large annoys me so much, it's like any notion of usability or comfort has gone right out the window. and I'm saying this as someone who is comfortable with the 6.1-inch form factor of an 11

I'm an Android boy, but I've been keeping an iPhone 6s in a drawer that I boot up occasionally for iPhone Things. Now that it's reached it's official EOL and can't update to iOS 16 I might legit save up for a 13 mini while they're still in production. Would be a major upgrade lol. But it would still sit in a drawer most of the time.
