outlook and gmail have had predictive text for years; office has had a "grammar check" (blue underline) since at least 2007. i think o365 has had predictive text in word since like 2019 or earlier. branding this as "ai" obviously sucks shit but it seems like they plugged in a new backend to a feature and are trying to convince it's revolutionary now. granted, that's kinda the scam of most of these products huh
"luckily" from my experience in modern education and business communication everyone just uses google drive now because it's "free"
