I know amost nothing about Java (except what I have learned in my introduction to programing class), so I can't comment on that.
I would love to hear why you think cringe is inherently fascist. I don't like cringe culture, but I never made the connection.
it's, ime very clearly, using social policing against things that just make someone uncomfortable. and through that, enforcing norms against it.
