Find your posto voce (Posting Voice) and use that. That's 90% of why anyone reads any given post.

You can crib off of others to start, but usually it's clear that you're not matching it's tone, just it's form. That's fine, but if you want the good posts? You gotta go a little unhinged and post from the diaphragm.

people read you for you, not your content -- they may like it, it may be helpful for them, but the ones that stick around are sticking around because they like your take on things. Not some formula.

if they wanted more of a formula taken from elsewhere, they'd just read that.

this advice is in no way universal, but I think it generalizes pretty well
