am I going to read a meta thread? am I going to see yearning? erotica? oh it's a screen full of boobs. That's okay but i was primed for something else.

I'd love... a mastodon-style freetext box that can go before the adult content. People aren't content warning these -- those do show up; but also are a tool for a different use, so people don't always use them, which is understandable and reasonable user behavior because of other platforms.

but mostly, I just want to know what level of 18+ the stuff is, because like, i've seen people writing bdsm treatises next to hardcore pornography on the same page's feed now, and it kind of just sucks. Especially with the ephemerality of cohost meaning I'll never find it again if I'm not opening it.
