it sucks but like. I've seen so many people gain great understanding from a back and forth everyone thought was doomed and that can never work when there's so many people who are this kind of reactive, that it's statistically unlikely you won't have someone wildly and strongly misinterpret you, let alone see whatever disconnect led you there.
