I can't see the blue lines on desktop either, unless I Open Image In New Tab.
I weirdly feel like I've just had a lateral-thinking puzzle in an experimental adventure game spoiled. One of those "Oh, you had to turn the item over in your inventory to see the clue on the back" situations.
