I'm starting to realize most people on youtube use 'subscribe' to inform their autorecommendations and never check the subscription tab, and yet again I show that my use of almost all apps is just RSS

You see, the problem is that a decision to subscribe is an easier one to make compared to unsubscribing. So my subscription tab is 80% things I'm no longer interested in but maybe they'll make a video I want to see one day? Or what if I unsubscribe and forget that channel even exists, what then? And bookmarks don't feel reliable enough.
This is straight up therapy stuff lol - inability to let go, make decisions, FOMO.
