I have a Nexus 7 and I use it as my ereader and I will use it until it Fully Dies. I love it so much
and you can make it really dim if you want, dimmer than most phones I've owned!
yeah it does the oled dim thing where it redshifts it at the low range to give you even dimmer, the 6 had it too but it seems to have been forgotten going forward
Fun fact: I won one of these from a Kit Kat bar when Android Kit Kat came out
