Location-based social media sounds cool, and also might lend well to the federated model folks seem super into

I'm unwilling to have it be more accurate than 'town' or maybe 'cluster of towns', for anti-stalking reasons. but location-clamping is really nice for like, getting the word out about local events or protest or etc, which right now is EXCEPTIONALLY hard on social media, Somehow

agree! although location clamping might be little coarse for more rural areas, but even so, would be cool to have a sense of semi-local community and coordinate gatherings

and god honestly why is it so hard now? I guess facebook sort of had that niche before. suck tho
