I carry around a screen I don't use when using my desktop. let me pay the 30 more dollars and sightly extra bulk of fitting the module in. just let me plug my computer into it when I'm not using it as a tablet. The screen is right there. you aren't even a company that sells monitors.

Apple does this but, of course, locks it to Apple computers only.

Lenovo's ridiculous 16" one shows it's possible without proprietary stuff.

Oh, but it's totally a solved problem! Just install some seedy app you've never heard of that somehow takes root permissions on both your tablet and your laptop, fiddle with it for half an hour, then you can get like thirty whole seconds of using your tablet as a monitor before they lose the connection and you have to start all over again!
