This is like a parody of an example of how liberals and corporations just use vocabulary find and replace to perform change without actually changing anything. Oh our DEI efforts are failing? Due to systemic factors we refuse to change? Let's start calling it D&B instead

Why Some Companies Are Saying ‘Diversity and Belonging’ Instead of ‘Diversity and Inclusion’

It also seems to be coming from an explicit goal of winning the sympathy of white male CEOs and promoting a "color blind, egalitarian not feminist" mentality in which bigotry is a bad attitude and not a social structure that deeply shaped what opportunities and obstacles your employees have encountered for their entire lives

Lotta places where the upper management is white men, middle management is white women, and housekeeping is Latina women want a DEI program that tells them they don't actually have to change this, only be a little nicer to the housekeepers
