question: do any of you have games on your phone and what are they. I need games on my phone (or a new book) for when I'm on the bus to school

the bus is also, historically, for reading man pages or wikipedia, if you're sufficiently far Lost.
i think infinitode 2 is the best tower defense game on android that isn't a gacha or something like that. i also am a big fan of kairosoft games, the best of those are the sushi one, the farm one, the ski one and the hot spring resorts one. the zoo one that just came out is also pretty fun if you like the idea of animals.
SFCave, 2048, and HyperRogue are my gos-to for mobile. i am a simple woman
Hoplite is a bit of a classic, and I pretty much always have time for some Slice and Dice.
But tbh these days I'm all about the various CtC hand-rolled sudoku variant apps.
Pretty much just Nonograms, though it has a bunch of ads so i only play it in the presence of a pi hole. (mildly on the lookout for better picross phone games)
On iPhone I’ve 100%d Konami’s “pixel puzzle collection” and the ads are very reasonable imo. There’s a banner ad you can ignore and between puzzles it pops up a stationary ad you can close without any waiting for timers. I think the ads are for Konami’s other products, but I’ve seen only two unique products advertised across the several months I’ve been playing.
I might finally finish the “Luna story” games next but I don’t like their UI/controls as much
This is for iOS.
Favorites:
Solid games:
I love Flipflop Solitaire (android and iOS) and Better Sudoku (currently iOS only). Neither one tracks everything you do on your phone (as far as I could tell from looking at the permissions) and aren't obnoxiously free-to-play. I ended up paying the $5 or so for the unlocks for them because I wanted to give the devs money, but they're fully enjoyable without doing so.
If you are in the mood for an upgrade/card collecting game you could try Injustice: Gods Among Us. DC superhero fighter game but the fighting mechanics are pretty simple.
infinity loop

it was one of our favorites
I have a bunch of famicom through game boy advance games on my phone, and also the mobile ports of the dragon quest games
