I don't relate to people by field or interest really, the people I most enjoy being around always, always, always end up somehow being the people who ship-of-theseus at least one of their things they use daily to the point where their computer is like, technically 20 years old but none of the parts are older than 3-4y other than the power supply which is 8y, or their car, or their bike or their etc etc etc

it's such a curse. everyone's editor is completely incomprehensible when you try to use their computer for something

i mean it does go to sleep to be clear.

But yeah a big part of the problem is that I am utterly and completely cursed; I treat my browser windows as project containers, and so I suspend them entire windows at a time and keep 2x2 open most of the time. It's unclear how much of this is because my immediate-term-memory is extremely low-endurance/capacity.

but for that same reason, session corruption doesn't matter, suspending them windows at a time requires a session manager addon, which for most of them lets me shove it in git and my backup scheme
