is there a good android app that's just like. I open it and it's a notepad. There is only one note. Updates don't make it take time to show me the note, i just open it and it's there regardless of what's gone on around it.

If you can see the "show contact info" dropdown below, I follow you. If you want me to, ask and I'll think about it.

Oh God, I built this ages ago but it's fallen off the play store because I didn't bother keeping up with Google's increasingly absurd demands that I update it (and my workflow changed a bit so it wasn't as useful to me personally). It's just a text box (and another for a title) and a share button. It remembers what's in it and you can share to it although doing so clears the existing content because again, there is only one note. Maybe I'll see if I can dig it out.
My intention with this was a little app you could share text to, edit it, and then share it on somewhere else, but I did end up using it as a scratchpad
I use ColorNote which is all of that except you can have multiple notes. I guess you could just only ever make one note, but you'd still have to select it after opening the program
Itās not an app, but I made this webpage for exactly that purpose. No features other than āautosaves your note to local storageā. Itās kinda OK on mobile
