it's funny how gamemaker code will be shown with or without semicolons at the end because the gamemaker compiler really does not care if you put one or not
(unless you're packing multiple lines of code on a single line, then it suddenly cares a lot)
Double-check your commas; would the sentence still work if you replaced them with a dot? then a semicolon is a-ok.
