reddit wants to burn off it's power users and let the people they want for advertisements and content that won't be questioned to stay
same as musk's Twitter
and thinking the CEO is making mistakes is to miss that very, very, very hard.

yeah he cited musk's twitter specifically as something he was excited to emulate when this shit started going off
the internet as we knew it is going away i fear
yeah but so many people seem to think he's just an idiot when like, no it's a good plan for his goals
i mean i don't think they're gonna get rich doing that but if his proxy target is to drive away all the people that don't just mindlessly slurp up ads yeah it's ideal
yeah, but promising it at ipo probably looks profitable for him lol. it's going to be funny when all the mods who capitulated figure out a way to inflict even more damage the week of the ipo
wait till he finds out the small amount of power users are the ones who do an outsized amount of the work maintaining communities and making their platform useful
ah right, i guess he only needs it to look profitable until he IPOs and then it's whatever
i think a lot of the institutional investors also see it as a new market once they drive away all the wokes like twitter did, but that one is pure speculation on my part
