If it's been a while since you've been on a website that actually added a popular new feature that people enjoy using, you might be a little annoyed and put-off that so many people are posting asks today. If this is making you genuinely upset, please remember that people trying out a fun new feature on a website after being granted access to it is extremely normal and is in fact the point of adding fun new features.

If the people you follow posting asks is completely ruining your experience on the website, you will note that unfollowing and muting still function as they did prior to asks being implemented. However, as is the case with all fun new features on all social media websites in the history of the internet, roughly a week or so after the fun new feature is added the novelty wears off and posts using the fun new feature become just a regular occurrence. Consider postponing any ask-related histrionics for a fortnight or so, and in the meantime maybe take up journaling.
