starting to think there are too many software projects and too little attention for most of it to survive, so anything currently load bearing that requires maintainers just uh. have some alternatives ready in the next five years I guess and try not to have anything that doesn't have data export to a format other things already support ok
it's kinda impossible to know which projects will fail because contributors get bored really fast if the maintainer decides to run their mouth and be a dipshit
