City life has cultural and recreational facilities that are not available in the countryside. This farm owner told me that he was devastated when his son graduated from college and told him he didn't want to come back for a while. But he believed he would come back eventually. If he doesn't come back, the farm will be a problem because he has only one son and there is no one to succeed him.
