like a quarter of my posts these days are Yeah I Actually Put Thought Behind This Over The Years Which Is Now Just Coalescing, Maybe Don't Assume I'm Just Saying Things And Lying For The Sake Of It
it's almost like I'm participating in the discourse of multiple fields the last decade plus and have learned and synthesized things from my experiences and those of others
if I'm wrong tell me but don't think I haven't like, maybe thought about any given thing for more than five minutes if I'm not starting it with something like "y'ever think about".
I'm angry not because of the most current one, but because this happens constantly, the presumed incompetence just because I didn't break it down because my general audience already knows those parts as a gestalt. I'm not writing for anyone, I'm writing. There's an entire prior body of work here and in other places you can compare with if you want. but like, I'm writing for me, and if you want me to start being a Technical Writer or Science Communicator who is polite and always words things the way that makes them easy to understand.
And yet when I use whatever the hell vernacular I use, people think I'm incompetent because I'm not using jargon, instead of realizing that, well, it being readable but still concise, and not full of jargon, shows... more understanding, not less.
pls im begging people as a whole to self reflect so I can save all of these words
