My song "I Wanna Kno" was chosen for the Bomb Rush Cyberfunk soundtrack!!!!!! I've been waiting to say this for a long time, I never thought I'd be lucky enough to officially have my stuff in a game like this. Thanks to director Dion Koster for curating one of the sickest music lineups I've seen for a game and seeing something in my track.

It's out today on PC/Switch.

And thanks to this excited YouTuber for finding it and recording, haha.

Y'all better respect that this is basically cohost's equivalent of Anthony Bourdain (RIP) giving top marks to a just-opened restaurant in your neighborhood.

I was legitimately over the moon to hear this... your album "memories of tokyo-to" was so special and such a love letter to the JSR fam, something keeping the love of this world alive just for the fun of it. and it feels like such justice to have your work be featured in BRC as a result. The song, like the rest of ur work, is also a complete banger. Congrats!!!!

Bro, of course you're in BRC. I literally don't know how I'm supposed to be surprised. You're Dr. JetsetRadio music. was I supposed to expect someone else like Taylor Swift for the OST?
JK/ i'm really happy for you, long time fan.

I agree entirely! Massive massive fan of JSR and JSRF but this is like.. I'd have been happy with this being a 16th of how good it is so far! They brought the directional execution of spraying that we didn't get in 'future' without it being buggy, the game controls so smooth and having a proper, controllable camera is such a QOL upgrade! With the incredible soundtrack, variation of how you choose to get around and new mechanics it's just... It's SO GOOD! A LOT OF LOVE went into this!!

The level of control with the air dash makes the platforming and navigation so much more fun, and I love the boost mechanic actually being useful rather than just neat. the way you can extend manuals and do really long jumps with boost + airdash at the end is so great

so first off, yes, 1000 times yes, not only is it a better platformer, with refined level design and an excellent camera, but also, it's got SUCH a better story. like jsr's story captivated me when i was a kid, but i am absolutely on the edge of my seat wondering what's going to happen next here, and i'm super excited to keep unraveling the layers. it's SO good.

and second off, FUCKING. I WANNA KNOW HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD LITERALLY FOR TWO DAYS. I HEAR IT A LOT IN THIS VIDEO GAME!!! and i have legit just been humming bits of it while doing chores and walking around the house and it fucking rules.

hahaha thank you so much! agreed, the story is also doing a whole lot more than the solid but threadbare stuff from JSR/F. Love the twists, the surreal stuff, the fact that gangs will drop rivalry pretense if someone's actually in trouble etc
