whoever creates a good terminal that can also run graphical applications tiled within it will be a hero.
I understand I could simply run a tiling window manager, but I often use terminal windows to keep projects linked if I, say, need to run a web browser to monitor the webui of something I have to config deep in config files, or running full throated emacs as if it was emacs --no-window.
I guess the alternative is... it's there anything in the linux ecosystem that plays well with kde (I'm willing to defect over this though), let's me have freefloating (I'd take tiled but I'd prefer not) windows that, within the window, lets me dock a grid of windows that then have a window wrapping them in the wm?
