but by offloading that into the (until recently, exclusively) mother, you can limit her time and energy to think about things or use, in the case of the housewife, spare time to do things like organize local events. or do time flexible work for the union (often admin and planning, which has gender stereotypes but there isn't that much you can do remote outside of admin and planning until recently)
