i still wonder like once a week if naziism's comeback was tipped over the edge because WWII records and footage were public domain so the lowest hanging fruit for cheap documentaries on documentary tv channels and eventually YouTube. no pesky paying for sources or b-roll.

WWI didn't carry many cameras, korean war doesn't have records, Vietnam also often covered, the 90s wars too low quality because video tape quality issues

IDK. I always thought it was more about people who were directly confronted to it disappearing and the remaining sympathizers/their descendence being now given platforms to "express themselves" while previously gagged by the many steps and requirements to circulate anything and reach a wide audience, so many people in the line being liable to go "fuck nazis" and stop the process.
I guess that uneducated and unsubstanciated view of things makes me part of the "social media were a mistake" and "you just can't trust people" canned worms. I'm probably a problem too but hey, at least I'm not one from the svastika brand cans ! :-P
