oh yeah i know it's just like... fuck? i remember wget being removed and i remember having to migrate from ifconfig to something else and yeah user binaries are just not stable at all
at a certain point I feel like using the python requests module is a little more robust but also.... aren't linux kernel maintainers deathly afraid of ripping out old tools? this seems like a really weird one.
