im thinking about quitting squad-based shooter video games after realizing that they're probably going to feed all the player telemetry into some Ender's Game (H. Miku, 1985) LLM for informing officers how to war, and being good at that once that period hits seems like a bad idea

I don't think tactics from other shooter games would be dumped into an AI model, because they aren't applicable, but games allow for rapid iteration and learning from your mistakes that training exercises and battle reports don't really give.

there's several orders of magnitude less fear of death, but probably still stuff to glean from it, enough that an AI company could reasonably pitch the idea.
