[taking incredibly deep breath and exhaling] this is what every linux screenshot in a "post your desktop" thread looked like for ten years, before everyone in charge of development decided they were going to throw anything that didn't look "respectable" out the window in a desperate and pyrrhic attempt to compete with macos for some unknown reason, and i will remain mad forever at how hard you have to work to get back to this point. if you turned on any linux machine in like 2002 it was gonna take you about ten minutes to figure out how to close a window, and they used to include wallpapers and color schemes this embarrassing. they'd be on like disc 3
the one use of AI that could help humanity the most would be something that lets you put a winamp skin pack into the chatbot and it spits out a theme for your window manager
