I'm mildly convinced python and rust are some of the few humane programming languages.
JavaScript especially has made the decision that conciseness in writing matters more than obvious to read, and older languages do it out of a misplaced necessity because of memory constraints in the 70s. Sure, I know how to read it, but I can't just hand it to someone familiar with most other languages and have them able to work with me that day who doesn't know it well.
