I'm surprised that it took this long, because they built a long track record of making their space worse for everybody involved. I bailed about five years ago, after watching them optimize for engagement (i.e., it's respectful to argue against human rights, but disrespectful to call that a problem), merge questions with identical headlines to destroy nuance, and let the Partner Program flood the site with procedurally generated questions. If AI is the thing that breaks it, that's almost baffling...
