Fixed it - 'If you can't pay your employees enough to live near your business, maybe you should relocate to a smaller metro area and move back when you aren't relying on underpaying your employees'
I guess I'm curious how "alone" we're meant to think of "alone" here. Like is something like dorm living considered "alone" or not if you have a bedroom to yourself? There are a lot of ways to have private living that still involve relative density and common areas that can keep them affordable!

As if castes didn't exist, as if rent weren't inherently exploitative, and as if no critters (like, say, me), were living alone simply because it's at least a reliable bulwark against a string of dysfunctional-to-abusive households.
This is why I hate neolibs.
It's funny how these common-sense takes never include "people who have nothing should take it from those who have everything"... I mean that's super-logical
