this is my entry in "occasionally rendering my dislike that the trans zeitgeist has decided 'masc' and 'femme' are about gender-vector and not presentation"

I get it when I was figuring stuff out there also wasn't great vocabulary, but like... now describing someone as femme-presenting has 19 year olds saying I'm Committing a Misgender just because the 'words can mean a few things, simultaneously' hash collision doesn't even register in their mind. I'm talking about lesbians of all genders so I'm not even sure where things went wrong.

kids these days smh smh

in reply to @NireBryce's post:

u can have femme men and masc women and all sorts of everything else. they predate this use of things. words can mean multiple things, just because people reply to your tweets and tumbles and toots and matrices as if context doesn't exist doesn't mean it doesn't have to.

To be fair if I ever have to see the opinion of someone under 20 I'm literally not taking it seriously, especially when it comes to queer terminology which the internet collectively has waded neck-deep in since before they were born.

Sorry, if you were born after 9/11 I'm ignoring your opinion on what terms that don't refer to you mean.
