Vivaldi lets you tile tabs.
Opera Classic (pour one out) actually had multi-document interface, before everyone standardized on tabs. Lots of sub-windows floating around inside your browser window. The road not taken.
both would be ideal but i understand we live in the wrong future. they also denied us multi-cursor support in OSes
way more opportunity cost for every website to implement it than for the 3 browser backends <_<
have you tried Arc? do you want an invite? they literally add split screen to it lol. i'm not really a fan personally of most of their design, but lol they're trying maybe
