people who hate cars: instead of owning a printer, just go to the library every time you need to print something, its only 25 cents

#im glad you're within walking or reasonable quick biking distance from yours tho #the carbon cost of me *going to a store to print something* is pretty high even for a relatively dense suburb abutting a small city #then the time cost #and gas #on my bike there's still the time cost but now it's more #and also the energy burned to get there both ebike and food #anyway what i'm saying is that over the course of like two years a good laser printer pays for itself if you don't happen to live basically next to somewhere with printing services #in money time and carbon footprint

i live in a Real City, so fast and reliable printers come to a block away from my house every five minutes

I've had a black and white brother laser printer (and scanner) for six years and it's been one of the best investments I've ever made. The toner is also incredibly cheap for how long it lasts.
