In lots of places (like my city) it gets even worse for transit. A common trip I used to take turned from 10-15 minutes each way by car into a minimum of 45 by bus - but more likely 90+ minutes - each way. Definitely no safe biking infrastructure anywhere along any of the busy roads on that route, nor did it have 100% sidewalk coverage. 💀
ok but like, outside of the city you take the highway to get to your doctor because your insurance doesn't cover the one next to you
