abjure the siren song of the raspberry pi project, not only are they overpriced for what the are, but every single project written for them is a pile of shell scripts you can make work yourself, it might require knowing how to compile it to x64 but you can Google that and follow a tutorial and it works now (unlike ten years ago).
importantly the biggest problem is the sort of people who make raspberry pi software usually forget about it and it languished unmaintained for years unless it's like, 3d printer software or actively used in a curriculum.
