tesla seems maybe ripe for getting unioned if they pounce on it
Musk fired 500 people and their executive because she said laying off more people would hurt the business. which it did.
anyway they're rehiring a lot of them
and Tesla also has it's factories.
I feel like a serious issue with building a union at Tesla is that everything it does is so transparently repugnant that the same people who would be most heavily committed to organizing are also the ones who are most likely to leave in disgust
yeah, but on the other hand they just showed 500 workers they're irreplaceable even in a job market full of people desperate for positions (and there was at least already work on the factory floor)
Musk is the type of stupid insane asshole who would consider NLRB fines to be the price of doing business, and just fire every unionized employee, blocking out a part of the yearly Tesla budget to cover this
sounds like there's no downside if you already want to quit and are already looking for new places after he fired your entire team two weeks ago on a whim before rehiring all of you again the first time
